Many herbal products are known to have good effect on mucus. In fact, traditional Chinese and Indian medicine recommend many herbal products such as ginseng and tulsi for mucus. However, these products are not backed by scientific research, so you have to do your own research while consuming them. In some cases, there herbal products can also cause side-effects such as diarrhea, skin rashes and fever, especially if your body is not used to the ingredients present in these herbs.
